Samba Jig Productions will teach a 1-hour capoeira workshop to middle school students in the University of Maryland’s Discovery summer program, through the campus’ Art & Learning Center. Students will be introduced to the history and elements of movement, music, and songs that are all key to understanding the capoeira tradition.
