Stand with Jonas Against Cancer

Our dear friend Jonas Durante was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and is facing enormous medical bills that his insurance won’t come close to covering. Jonas is a dedicated husband to Daniela Paschoarelli and the father of two young boys who adore their dad. Jonas is also a gifted drummer, who has played at Blues Alley and other venues in the area. Above all he’s a blessing to the Brazilian Baptist Church of Washington, DC, with his time and musical gifts. You can also help by attending a benefit show at The Grill From Ipanema on Sunday November 11th from 5 to 8m. Ten percent of all proceeds will go to Jonas’ family. The show will feature several DC-MD-VA artists.
